Chicken Fried Rice


· 1 cup cooked rice
· 1/4 cup bite-sized chucks of chicken meat
· 1/4 cup white onion cut into square pieces
· 2 cloves garlic, crushed
· 1/3 tsp. sugar
· 2 - 3 tsp. soy sauce
· 2 - 3 tsp. fish sauce
· 3 tsp. oil
· 1 egg
· 1 dash white pepper powder
· 1 handful chopped green onion


In a wok, cook crushed garlic and white onion in hot oil. Add chicken meat and stir-fry until chicken is done. Add egg and stir-fry briefly or until egg hardens. Cook in the rest of the ingredients and stir-fry for another 2 - 3 minutes.

Cooking Tip: Never add egg after rice is cooked, when preparing fried rice.
